Butlin's
Holiday camps started in the early twentieth century. Butlin's started in 1936. The 50s and 60s though, were the heyday of the British holiday camp.
Fawlty Towers
The Gleneagles Hotel, Torquay was the inspiration for "Fawlty Towers".
Sidney Little's Hastings
In the 1930s Hastings was transformed into a concrete and chrome tribute to the modern age.
