The Twentieth Century Society
The Twentieth Century Society is dedicated to the preservation of buildings from that century. 1930s lidos are of particular concern. Lidos are often under threat due to short-sighted planning policies and commercial pressures.

Dorset Coast Digital Archive
This site has three sections, including "Settlements and Society" which contains maps, photographs, newspapers and archaeological records which show how society and its settlements have changed on the Dorset Coast. The other two are concerned with the physical coastline - "Physical Changes to the Coast" and "Managing the Coast".
